Zhuo Yingzi (Catch the Shadow)

Choose one player to be the chaser for the round.

All other players scatter around an open, sunny area where shadows fall clearly on the ground.

The chaser tries to step directly on another player's shadow rather than tagging their body.

Runners dodge, dart between shade patches, and shorten their shadows by crouching to avoid being stepped on.

Once a shadow is stepped on, that player becomes the new chaser and the round restarts.

Play continues until players tire or the sun moves low enough that shadows stretch too far to dodge.
