HOW TO PLAY
1
Deal five cards to each player, placing the rest in a draw pile with one card turned face-up beside it.
2
On your turn, discard one card or a valid combination (like a set or run) and draw a replacement from the pile or discard.
3
Try to lower the total point value of the cards remaining in your hand, since face cards and number cards count against you.
4
When your hand's total value is low enough, you may call 'Yaniv' instead of discarding, ending the round.
5
Everyone reveals their hands; if another player has an equal or lower total than the caller, that player 'assafs' the caller and scores zero while the caller takes a penalty.
6
Points accumulate across rounds until a player crosses an agreed limit, at which point the lowest score wins.
