HOW TO PLAY
1
Each player gathers a small handful of seed pods or smooth pebbles to use as their juggling pieces.
2
A player begins by tossing one piece into the air and catching it, then adds a second piece to keep two moving at once.
3
The player continues adding pieces one at a time, tossing and catching them in a steady rhythm while singing or chanting along with the throws.
4
If a player drops a piece or loses the rhythm of the chant, their turn ends and the pieces pass to the next player.
5
Players compare how many pieces they can keep aloft at once, with more experienced players managing four or five pieces smoothly.
6
Rounds continue with players trying to beat their own or others' best count, often accompanied by traditional songs tied to the counting.
