Wau Kite Flying Contest

Launch your kite in an open field with steady wind, letting out string gradually as it climbs.

Once airborne, judges or fellow players score kites on how high, steady, and long they can stay aloft.

For a dueling version, coat sections of the string with an abrasive coating and maneuver your kite to cross and saw against an opponent's line.

Whoever's string is cut loses that kite from the match while the other kite drifts free as the winner.

Continue flying and judging until an agreed time limit, then compare each kite's performance or survival.
