Place four seeds in each of the twelve small pits, leaving the two end stores empty.

On your turn, empty one pit from your own row and sow its seeds one at a time into the following pits, moving counterclockwise and including your own store but skipping your opponent's.

If your final seed lands in an opponent's pit and brings its total to two or three, capture those seeds into your store.

Continue checking backward along your opponent's row; any further pit that also now holds two or three seeds is captured too, as long as the chain is unbroken.

Play continues until one player's row is empty; the other player then adds their remaining seeds to their own store.

Whoever has collected more seeds in their store wins the game.
