Warlpiri String Story

Loop the string around both hands and weave it through the fingers in a specific sequence of moves.

Each completed pattern forms a recognizable shape meant to represent an animal, object, or short story element.

The player narrates a simple story aloud, changing the string pattern to match each new part of the tale.

Other players can try to copy the exact finger movements to recreate the same shape.

A round ends when the storyteller finishes the tale, and the group can vote on the most creative pattern.
