HOW TO PLAY

Load each crew into an outrigger canoe with one paddle per person and a steerer at the back.

Line up all crews side by side at the starting point on the water.

On the start signal, paddle in unison, matching the stroke pace set by the crew member in the front seat.

The steerer calls direction changes and keeps the canoe on course down the marked lane.
5
Race to the finish line; the first canoe to fully cross is the winner.

For a team-building session instead of a race, focus on syncing strokes as a crew rather than timing a course.
