MATERIALS
- An outrigger canoe or kayak per team (or a land-based relay substitute using a canoe-shaped cart)
- Paddles
- A marked water or land course
HOW TO PLAY
1
Divide players into even teams and assign paddling positions in each canoe.

Line up canoes at the starting point of the marked course.

On the signal, teams paddle together in synchronized strokes, following the lead paddler's calls to stay in rhythm.

Navigate the course around any marked buoys or turning points without losing synchronization.

If the team falls out of rhythm, the lead paddler calls a reset stroke to regroup before continuing.
6
The first canoe to cross the finish line wins the relay.
