Uyghur Dolan Circle Dance

Everyone joins hands or stands shoulder to shoulder in a large circle.

Start stepping sideways around the circle in time with the music's beat.

On a called signal, the circle reverses direction without breaking the chain.

Every so often, one dancer steps into the center to add a spin or flourish while the circle claps along.

The center dancer tags a replacement before rejoining the circle.

Keep rotating center dancers until the music ends.
