MATERIALS
- A rounded stone or wooden disk (maika)
- Two upright stakes to form a target gate
MEASUREMENTS
Throwing lane roughly 30-60 feet long with stakes set about a foot apart
HOW TO PLAY
1
Plant two stakes upright in the ground a short distance apart to form a narrow target gate.

Stand at the far end of the lane and roll the disk edge-first along the ground toward the gate.

Score a point if the disk passes cleanly between the stakes without touching either one.

Take turns rolling, giving each player an equal number of rolls per round.

Move the stakes farther apart for beginners or closer together to raise the difficulty.
6
Play to an agreed point total, or compare total successful passes after a set number of rounds.
