Ask guests in advance to wear the most festively ugly holiday sweater they can find.

Line up all contestants together at some point during the party.

Judges (or an applause vote) score sweaters on categories like tackiest, funniest, and most creative.

Award small prizes for each category.

Take a group photo of all the contestants together.
