Two-Foot High Kick
- 1 small target (traditionally a sealskin ball or pouch) suspended from a stand or rope
- Soft landing mat or ground
The target starts at a modest height and is raised in small increments after each successful round.
A small suspended target is hung at a starting height that every competitor can comfortably reach.
A competitor takes a running or standing start, jumps into the air, and must kick the target using both feet held together at the moment of contact.
The competitor must then land on both feet at the same time, keeping their balance without stumbling or touching down with a hand.
Any attempt where the feet separate before kicking, the target is missed, or the landing is unbalanced counts as a failed attempt.
After each round where at least one competitor succeeds, the target is raised slightly higher for the next round.
The competition continues until only one competitor can still successfully kick and land cleanly at the current height.
