- A row of climbable trees with sturdy low branches
- A ribbon or marker to tie at the target height
- Adult supervision
MEASUREMENTS
Target marker tied roughly 6-8 ft (2-2.5m) up the trunk, low enough to keep the climb safe.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Line up one climber at the base of a separate tree, matched for similar difficulty.

On the starting signal, each climber scrambles up their tree toward the tied marker.
3
Touch the ribbon or marker with your hand before starting your descent.
4
Climb back down and plant both feet on the ground to finish.
5
The first climber to touch ground again after tagging their marker wins the heat.
6
Run additional heats and let the heat winners race each other to crown a champion.
