MATERIALS
- A trap (a pivoted lever with a cup or platform)
- A small ball
- A bat or stick
HOW TO PLAY

The batter places the ball in the cup end of the trap and stands ready with the bat.

The batter presses the trap's lever with the bat, flipping the ball up into the air in front of them.

As the ball rises, the batter swings and tries to hit it as far as possible into the field.

Fielders try to catch the ball before it lands to put the batter out.

If the ball is not caught, the batter scores based on how far it traveled or how many fielders it passed, then the next batter takes a turn.
