MATERIALS
- An oval or rugby-style ball
- A marked field with try lines at each end
HOW TO PLAY
1
Start with the ball at the center of the field, passing it laterally or backward toward the try line.
2
A defender stops a ball carrier by touching them with one or two hands rather than tackling.
3
After a touch, the carrier stops, passes the ball behind them, and defenders retreat a set distance.
4
A set number of touches without scoring turns the ball over to the other team.
5
Carrying the ball across the opponent's try line and grounding it scores a try for your team.
