Torres Strait Pearl Shell Relay

Scatter shell tokens along a marked stretch of ground for each team.

The first player collects one shell and carries it in cupped hands, without dropping it, to the team bucket.

They run back and tag the next teammate, who collects another shell.

Continue until all shells for that team have been collected.

The team that empties its stretch of shells first wins.
