Tongan Lakalaka Formation Dance

Dancers form straight rows facing the audience, men and women in separate lines.

A conductor at the side calls out the arm and hand gestures for each verse.

Everyone performs the same gesture in unison, keeping movements sharp and synchronized.

Between verses, rows may shift position slightly while keeping the formation intact.

The performance builds to a final verse where every gesture is performed with extra flourish together.
