Toka Kupenga

Players sit in a circle around a small mat placed in the middle.

Each player takes a turn tossing several small stones into the air and catching as many as possible on the back of their hand.

Stones that stay balanced on the hand are then tossed once more and must be caught in the palm.

The number of stones successfully caught in that combined toss becomes the player's score for the round.

Players compare scores after an agreed number of turns, and the highest total wins.
