MATERIALS
- Weighted table or board with a lead top and holes of different point values
- Flat brass throwing discs
HOW TO PLAY
1
Stand at the marked throwing distance from the board, which has a small central hole worth the most points surrounded by several lower-value holes.
2
Take turns tossing your discs underarm, aiming to land them cleanly in one of the holes rather than have them bounce off the sloped lead surface.
3
A disc that lands in the small center hole scores the top prize, while discs in the outer holes score smaller fixed amounts.
4
Discs that miss every hole and stay on the board can still score a minor consolation point in some house rules.
5
Each player throws the same number of discs per round, and totals are added up round after round.
6
Play to an agreed target score, or a set number of rounds, with the highest total declared the winner.
