MATERIALS
- Flat rectangular boards or trays to represent salt slabs
- Rope or straps to help carry them
- Cones for a winding course
MEASUREMENTS
Winding course about 15 meters long marked with 4-5 cones
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up a winding course through cones to represent an old caravan trail.
2
Each team balances a flat 'salt slab' board across both forearms, or slung with straps, at the starting line.
3
On the signal, the first player carries the slab through the winding course without dropping it, weaving between every cone in order.
4
If the slab is dropped, the player must stop, reset it, and continue from that spot rather than returning to the start.
5
Once a player finishes the course, they hand the slab off to the next teammate, who repeats the carry.
6
The first team to get every member through the full course with the slab wins the relay.
