HOW TO PLAY
1
Players join hands and form a circle around one player chosen as the farmer.

The circle walks around while everyone sings the verse naming who the farmer picks next, such as a wife or child.
3
The named player steps into the center to join the farmer, and the song continues, adding a new character each verse.
4
Repeat until the final character is chosen according to the song's traditional sequence.
5
That last player becomes the new farmer, and the game restarts.
