Tavla (Turkish Backgammon)

Each player sets up their fifteen checkers on their designated starting points across the board.

Players take turns rolling two dice and moving checkers forward around the board according to the numbers rolled.

A checker may land on an open point or one held only by a single opposing checker, sending that lone checker off the board.

A point held by two or more opposing checkers is blocked and cannot be landed on.

Rolling doubles allows four moves of that number instead of the usual two.

The first player to move all fifteen checkers around and bear them off the board completely wins the game.
