Deal all cards evenly among four players seated as two facing partnerships.

Bid around the table with each player naming how many tricks their partnership expects to win; the highest bid sets the trump suit.

Play tricks by following the suit that was led whenever possible, with trump cards beating any non-trump card.

Track how many tricks each partnership wins during the hand.

The bidding partnership scores if they meet or beat their bid, otherwise they lose points, while the other side scores for tricks they collected; play multiple hands to an agreed target score.
