Partners sit across from each other, and one player names a suit as trump after examining their dealt hand.

Deal the full hand to each player, then play proceeds clockwise with each player contributing one card to the trick.

Follow the suit that was led if you can, and play a trump card if you are unable to follow suit.

Certain card combinations held before the first trick, such as runs or matched pairs, are declared aloud for bonus points.

The highest trump played, or the highest card of the led suit if no trump was played, wins the trick for that team.

Add up trick points and declared combinations at the end of the hand; the first team to reach the agreed target score across multiple hands wins.
