MATERIALS
- A drawn or printed board
- Playing pieces for a tiger and several cows
MEASUREMENTS
Simple crossed-line board with marked intersections
HOW TO PLAY
1
One player controls a single tiger piece while the other controls several cow pieces placed on marked points of the board.
2
The cow player moves one piece at a time along the lines, trying to slowly surround and trap the tiger so it cannot move.
3
The tiger player moves along the lines as well, but can jump over a cow into an empty point beyond it to capture that cow.
4
Captured cows are removed from the board, weakening the cow player's ability to box the tiger in.
5
The cow player wins by fully trapping the tiger, while the tiger player wins by capturing enough cows that trapping becomes impossible.
