MATERIALS
- An 8x8 checkered board, or one drawn on cloth
- 12 bottle caps or stones each of two colors
HOW TO PLAY

Arrange each side's pieces on the first two rows of dark squares closest to that player.

Pieces capture by hopping diagonally over an adjacent enemy piece into an empty square beyond, exactly as in standard draughts.

A single turn may include multiple hops in different directions if each one lands beside another capturable piece.

A piece that reaches the opposite edge of the board is flipped or stacked to mark it as a king, which may then move and capture diagonally in any direction.
5
The game is won by capturing all of the opponent's pieces or leaving them with no legal move.
