Strip the Willow

Dancers form two long lines facing each other, couple by couple down the set.

The top couple joins right hands and spins together in the middle to the beat of the reel.

The top couple then travels down the set, turning briefly with each opposite-line dancer in turn using alternating hands.

Once the top couple reaches the bottom, they take their place at the end of the lines.

The new top couple begins the same figure, and the dance repeats until every couple has traveled down the set.
