MATERIALS
- A steelpan, or substitutes such as overturned buckets, pots, or boxes for each player
HOW TO PLAY

Give every player something to drum on, ideally a steelpan but overturned buckets or pots work well too.

Choose a lead player to tap out a short, simple rhythm pattern.

The rest of the circle repeats the pattern back together in unison.

The lead player adds a new twist or layer to the rhythm, and the group echoes it again.

Rotate the lead role around the circle so each player gets a turn inventing a pattern.
6
Finish by having everyone layer their favorite patterns together at once for a full group rhythm.
