HOW TO PLAY
1
Deal thirteen cards to each of the four players.
2
Players bid in turn, choosing from options such as proposing a partnership to win eight tricks together, playing solo to win five tricks alone, attempting misère to lose every trick, or attempting an open misère with a hand shown face up.
3
The winning bid sets the trump suit if applicable, and play proceeds trick by trick with players following suit when possible.
4
Players work toward or against the declared contract depending on whether they are the bidder, a partner, or an opponent.
5
At the end of the hand, points are awarded or deducted based on whether the contract succeeded, and totals are kept across several deals.
