MATERIALS
- Skis
- A tow rope or harness
- A horse, dog, or snowmobile to provide the pull
- A safety helmet
MEASUREMENTS
Courses often run several hundred yards to a few miles, sometimes including small jumps or gates.
HOW TO PLAY
1
The skier attaches a tow rope from their harness to the horse, dog team, or snowmobile providing the pull.
2
At the starting signal, the puller sets off and tows the skier along the marked course.
3
The skier holds the rope steady, bending their knees to absorb bumps and navigate any gates or turns in the course.
4
Skiers may need to release the rope voluntarily or ski around obstacles marked on the course without falling.
5
The fastest skier-and-puller pair to complete the course without missing a gate or losing control wins.
