Sinya
- A large round tray
- Eleven small metal cups
- A ring, coin, or die to hide
The eleven cups are arranged upside down in a circle on the tray, and one team's chosen hider secretly slips the ring under one cup while shielding the tray from view.
The tray is then presented to the opposing team, whose members are not allowed to touch the cups.
The guessing team studies the hider's hands, breathing, and expression for clues, then confers quietly before naming one cup.
The hider lifts the named cup to reveal whether the ring is underneath; a correct guess scores a point for the guessing team, while a wrong guess lets the hiding team keep control of the tray.
Teams alternate the roles of hider and guesser after every round or after an agreed number of points.
Matches are often played long into the night during Ramadan gatherings, with the first team to reach a set score declared the winner.
