Shadow Tag

Choose one player to be "it" while everyone else spreads out in an open, sunlit area.

The player who is "it" chases the other players, trying to step on their shadow rather than tag their body.

A player whose shadow is stepped on becomes the new "it" and must chase the others.

Players may dodge into shade or huddle close together to shrink or hide their shadows.

Set a boundary for the play area so the chase does not spread too far.

Keep rotating the "it" role as shadows are tagged until everyone has had a turn or time runs out.
