- A checkered board of 8x8 squares
- Two sets of carved playing pieces representing kings, ministers, and soldiers
HOW TO PLAY

Set up each side's pieces on the two rows closest to that player, mirroring the opponent's arrangement.

Take turns moving one piece at a time, following the specific movement pattern allowed for that piece type.

Capture an opponent's piece by moving your own piece onto its square.

Protect your king piece while trying to trap the opponent's king so it has no safe square left to move to.
5
The game ends the moment a player's king is trapped with no legal escape, giving the win to their opponent.
