HOW TO PLAY
1
Stand in a small circle or facing a partner, with dancers spaced enough to move freely.
2
Follow the lead dancer through a sequence of stamps, hops, and claps in time with the music.
3
Slap the soles of your shoes, your knees, and your thighs in the pattern demonstrated by the leader, keeping your upper body upright.
4
Add jumps and turns between slapping sequences as the music calls for them.
5
Match the group's timing closely, since the sharp slapping sounds are meant to land together.
6
Finish with a final flourish, such as a loud stamp or a spin, on the last beat of the music.
