- Small resin chunks, dried orange peel, or scented wood pieces to hide as trail markers
- A basket per player or team to collect finds
MEASUREMENTS
Search area roughly 20 by 20 meters
HOW TO PLAY

Before play, hide a set number of scented trail markers around the outdoor search area, keeping a written count of how many were hidden.

Explain to players that they are tracing an old trading trail and must sniff out and collect as many hidden markers as they can find.

On the signal, players spread out and search, using both sight and smell, placing any markers they find into their basket.

Set a time limit, after which everyone returns to a central point to stop searching.

Count each player's or team's collected markers, and whoever gathered the most wins; any markers left unfound can be revealed and searched for again as a bonus round.
