- A pony for each rider
- A curved wooden mallet (kangjei) per rider
- A wooden ball
- Two goalposts
MEASUREMENTS
Field roughly 225 x 100 ft (68 x 30m) with a goal at each end.
HOW TO PLAY

Two mounted teams line up at the center of the field facing their respective goals.

Release the wooden ball at the center to start play, with riders racing to control it.

Riders strike the ball along the ground with their curved mallets while guiding their ponies with the other hand and their legs.

Pass the ball between teammates by hitting it toward an open rider, staying mounted throughout.

Score a goal by striking the ball between the opposing team's goalposts.
6
Play continues for a set number of periods, and the team with more goals when time expires wins.
