Rubber Duck Race

Assign each entrant a numbered rubber duck matching a ticket they hold.

Release all the ducks together at a marked starting point along a stream or into a pool with a current.

Ducks float or are pushed along the water toward a finish line marked downstream.

Volunteers with nets stand along the banks to nudge stuck ducks back into the flow without picking favorites.

The first duck to cross the finish line is recorded by its number.

The entrant holding the ticket matching the winning duck's number is declared the winner.
