Ring and Pin Game

MATERIALS
- A pierced ring made of bone, hide, or woven fiber
- A slim pointed stick or pin
- A cord joining the ring to the pin
HOW TO PLAY

Hold the pin in one hand and let the tethered ring hang freely on its cord.

Flick the ring upward and outward with a snap of the wrist.
3
Try to catch the falling or swinging ring on the point of the pin.
4
Score higher for catching the ring through its center hole than through a side loop, if it has more than one.
5
Take turns with other players and keep a running tally of successful catches.
6
Raise the challenge by counting only consecutive catches, restarting the count after any miss.
