- 4-8 rope or rubber rings
- A vertical peg or stake set in the ground
MEASUREMENTS
Peg placed roughly 15-25ft (4.5-7.5m) from the throwing line, depending on players' age and skill.
HOW TO PLAY

Set the peg firmly in open ground and mark a throwing line at an agreed distance.

Players take turns tossing their rings underhand, trying to land them looped around the peg.

A ringer, where the quoit fully encircles the peg, scores the most points.

A quoit that lands leaning against the peg without encircling it scores fewer points, per your group's agreed values.

Add up each player's points after everyone has thrown their rings for that round.

Play to an agreed target score, and the first player to reach it wins.
