A caller starts a call-and-response song, with the group singing back the chorus in rhythm.

Players take turns stepping into the circle to dance briefly in front of the guest of honor, showing off playful or celebratory moves.

Between dances, the caller weaves in teasing verses or well-wishes about the upcoming marriage.

The circle keeps the beat going with clapping and stomping throughout each dancer's turn.

Continue rotating dancers into the circle until everyone who wants a turn has danced.
