Qatari Al-Sadu Weaving Race

Each player sets up an identical simple frame with starting threads in place.

On the signal, players weave their fabric strips over and under the threads as quickly and neatly as possible.

A judge periodically checks each player's pattern for accuracy, not just speed.

The first player to complete a set length of clean, even weaving wins.

Sloppy or uneven weaving can be sent back to redo a section, costing valuable time.
