Deal out the entire deck evenly among all players.

Whoever holds the lowest card, often the three of clubs, plays first by laying it down alone or in a combination.

Each following player must play a combination of equal size that beats the previous one, or pass if they cannot.

When everyone else passes, the last player to lay a combination starts a fresh round with any combination they choose.

The first player to play every card from their hand wins; remaining players can be scored by how many cards they have left.
