Porto-Novo Cowrie Shell Count

Players sit in a circle around a bowl holding a set number of shells.

Take turns scooping a handful of shells without looking, then guess how many are in your hand before opening it.

Count the shells aloud to check whether the guess was exact, over, or under.

Score a point for an exact guess, and no points for a miss.

After an agreed number of rounds, whoever has the most points wins.
