HOW TO PLAY
1
Draw a hopscotch course of numbered boxes on the pavement, often shaped with a curved or house-shaped final section.
2
Toss the marker into the first box, then hop through the course on one foot, skipping over the box that holds the marker.
3
Use both feet only where boxes are drawn side by side, hopping on one foot everywhere else.
4
On the return trip, bend down carefully to scoop up the marker without stepping on any lines or losing balance.
5
A clean run lets the player toss the marker into the next box for their following turn; any mistake passes the turn to the next player.
