Petteia

Each player sets up their pieces in rows facing their opponent across the grid.

Players alternate turns sliding one piece at a time along a row or column, without jumping.

Trap an opponent's piece between two of your own pieces, in a straight line, to capture it and remove it from the board.

A piece moved deliberately between two enemy pieces is safe and cannot be captured that way.

The game ends when one player captures enough of the opponent's pieces that they can no longer form new traps, or when only one player has pieces left.
