MATERIALS
- Metal boules (2-3 per player)
- A small wooden target ball (cochonnet)
MEASUREMENTS
Casual play on any flat gravel or dirt strip roughly 15m x 4m.
HOW TO PLAY
1
A player tosses the small cochonnet ball to start the round.
2
Players alternate tossing their metal boules, aiming to land closest to the cochonnet.
3
Boules can be thrown to land near the target or to knock away an opponent's boule.
4
The team farther from the cochonnet keeps throwing until closer or out of boules.
5
Score one point per boule closer than the opponent's nearest; play to an agreed score, often 13.
