- A tall bamboo or wooden pole
- Cooking oil or grease to coat the pole
- A prize bundle tied to the top
MEASUREMENTS
Pole roughly 3-6 meters (10-20 ft) tall
HOW TO PLAY
1
Plant the pole upright and coat it generously with grease from top to bottom.

Tie a bundle of prizes securely to the very top of the pole.
3
Contestants take turns trying to climb the slippery pole using only their hands, arms, and legs.
4
Team up in small groups to boost each other higher, since climbing alone rarely reaches the top.
5
Whoever grabs the prize bundle at the summit keeps it, ending the contest.
