SETTING

MATERIALS
- Wooden board with two rows of pits, commonly 7 or 14 per side
- Tamarind seeds, cowrie shells, or small stones
MEASUREMENTS
Board has 2 rows of 7 pits per player, each filled with an equal count of seeds at the start
HOW TO PLAY
1
Fill every pit on the board with the same number of seeds before play begins.
2
On your turn, empty one pit from your own row and drop one seed into each following pit moving around the board.
3
If your last seed lands in a pit that then holds a number matching the agreed capture count, take all seeds from that pit.
4
Continue checking pits before the last one for the same matching count and capture those as well when they qualify.
5
Set aside all captured seeds in your personal store, separate from the seeds still in play.
6
When no pits have enough seeds left to continue sowing, count each player's stored seeds to determine the winner.
