MATERIALS
- A small wooden target ball (cochonnet)
- Metal boules, at least two per player
HOW TO PLAY
1
Toss the small target ball a short distance down the playing area to set the aiming point.
2
Standing with both feet inside a small marked circle, each player throws their metal boules trying to land closest to the target.
3
Opposing players may also aim to knock an opponent's boule away from the target or to knock the target ball itself to a new position.
4
Once all boules have been thrown, measure distances from the target to determine which boules are closest.
5
The player or team with the closest boule scores a point for each boule nearer than the opponent's best; the first to reach 13 points wins.
