MATERIALS
- A standard 52-card deck with one card from a pair removed, leaving a single unmatched card
HOW TO PLAY

Deal out all the cards evenly among players; some players may end up with one extra card.

Each player looks at their hand and discards any matching pairs face up.

Players take turns drawing one unseen card from the hand of the player to their left, keeping their own cards fanned and hidden.

Discard any new pair formed by the drawn card; if it doesn't match anything, keep it in your hand.

Continue drawing and discarding pairs until all cards are paired off except the single unmatched card.

The player left holding that unmatched card is the "old maid" and loses the round.
